Agentforce London: Salesforce Reports 78% of UK Companies Embrace Agentic AI

Salesforce just released some eye-opening survey results: 78% of organizations in the UK are already embracing agentic AI. During the Agentforce London 2025 event, they shared that an additional 14% plan to adopt this technology in the next six months, bumping the total to a striking 92%.

Their Digital Labour Trends survey revealed that 84% of C-level executives in the UK aim to train their employees in AI. A solid 72% believe their technical setups are well-equipped for AI implementation, which paves the way for rapid growth. The data shows that companies are saving three to ten hours a week by using AI agents, which translates into nearly a full day freed from repetitive tasks. Interestingly, the research indicates a 26% boost in employee productivity.

Another notable point emerged: almost one in four UK workers may soon be reassigned as the job landscape shifts with digital labor. It seems like the majority of senior leaders—84%—are committed to training their teams on AI within the next year, with 40% aiming to kick off that training in just six months. They’re investing about 12% of an average salary in this effort, marking one of the largest skills investments in recent history.

Zahra Bahrololoumi, CEO of Salesforce UK and Ireland, shared insights during a media session at the event. She emphasized that this research aligns closely with their daily experiences at Salesforce, noting that AI has become a key topic for boards. She addressed the potential confusion between generative AI and agentic AI, stating that agentic AI is not just a co-pilot; it’s autonomous and possesses agency. She personally uses various AI tools regularly, highlighting that she doesn’t see hierarchy in their utility.

Salesforce conducted the survey with 110 C-level executives involved in AI integration across various industries, sampling 100 from the UK and 10 from Ireland, all from organizations with at least 200 employees.

In a noteworthy collaboration, Salesforce announced a partnership with Brunel University during Agentforce London, linking their respective AI centers for workshops and community initiatives. This ties into Salesforce’s commitment to invest $4 billion in its UK operations over the next five years.

In tandem with these developments, the UK government recently announced a national effort to enhance AI skills, aiming to boost the capabilities of 7.5 million people over the next five years. Peter Kyle, the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, expressed that equipping the workforce with essential skills is crucial for economic growth in an AI-driven landscape.
