Alight Aims to Improve Microsoft Teams Experience with Worklife Integration

Alight has teamed up with Microsoft expert Avanade to integrate its Worklife product into Microsoft Teams. This move aims to enhance the experience of employee benefits for companies that use both platforms.

Starting with the next release, employers using Microsoft Teams and Alight Worklife can access this new application. By embedding benefits access into employees’ daily tools, Alight hopes to make it easier for workers to find and use their benefits, boosting awareness and overall engagement.

Worklife focuses on creating a personalized experience. It features workflows tailored to individual needs and real-time insights, all accessible through Teams. Employees will benefit from AI-driven recommendations, an interactive virtual assistant, and a clear account summary. The dashboard within Teams will display essential benefits information and personalized to-do lists, putting everything employees need right at their fingertips.

Alight and Avanade have co-developed this integration to ensure secure user validation and personalized content for each employee. With everything streamlining into the familiar Teams environment, employees won’t have to juggle multiple logins or switch between apps. This collaboration leverages Avanade’s expertise with Microsoft solutions, enhancing productivity and engagement.

Josh Welch, Alight’s EVP of product management, highlighted that today’s workforce expects benefit interactions to be straightforward and connected to their daily technologies. He emphasized that this partnership aims to help employers engage better with their employees regarding benefits and maximize the value of those investments.

Pete Daderko, senior director of Microsoft Teams product marketing, stressed the importance of having instant access to vital HR information within everyday work tools. He sees real value in delivering HR information right where employees need it, which is precisely what the Alight Worklife integration aims to achieve.

Katie Brown, general manager of US Midwest at Avanade, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it will empower employers to provide a seamless and personalized experience, aligning with their people strategies.
