Utelogy Enhances Hybrid Workforce Technology Integration with Logitech

Utelogy Corporation has ramped up its partnership with Logitech, a key player in workplace technology, as part of Logitech’s Collaboration Programme. Together, they’re changing how companies manage conference room technology, leveraging CollabOS—the operating system that powers specific Logitech video collaboration devices—to streamline device management and enhance user experiences.

This collaboration isn’t new; it builds on a solid five-year foundation focusing on monitoring meeting spaces. Now, the partnership adds new management features for CollabOS devices like Rally Bars, RoomMate, and the latest video conferencing gear. Utelogy is integrating its systems with Logitech’s CollabOS API, which means companies will have clearer visibility into their devices and connected gear. They’ll receive real-time updates about device health, firmware status, and connectivity directly through Utelogy’s U-Manage Platform.

This integration provides crucial insights that can cut downtime and support proactive maintenance. Users gain access to analytics on device performance, room occupancy, and how much equipment is being utilized. This information helps teams manage meeting spaces more effectively.

Utelogy’s software platform will also boost troubleshooting, automate tasks, and enable self-repair features. The system can automatically adjust power settings for displays, lighting, and other devices based on room occupancy. Plus, it integrates with booking systems to free up rooms and cancel ghost meetings, improving energy efficiency and ensuring accurate room signage.

Nicole Corbin, Utelogy’s VP of Operations, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting how it enhances their AV management capabilities. She underscored that it allows for real-time insights into device health and usage, making maintenance more proactive and improving operational efficiency. This means a better experience for meeting participants—ensuring all systems are up and running when needed.

Sudeep Trivedi, from Logitech, emphasized the significance of collaboration tools in today’s hybrid work environment. He pointed out that minimizing downtime and gaining detailed insights into meeting spaces is essential. The integration with CollabOS APIs offers Logitech customers access to cross-platform tools that generate valuable data on the health and usage of their meeting areas, ultimately enhancing the end-user experience.
